Our IPC topic is 'Changes'.

This half term the children will learn about all kinds of changes. They will be learning about the different changes in food, animals, people and the environment.

Please remember to bring your child's P.E. clothes in on Monday  and take them home on Friday (white top, blue shorts and black plimsolls).

Class Fund

We would be very grateful if you could make a donation of £5 per term towards cooking and additional creative resources. Thank you.

In Reception, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. This is a play based curriculum that incorporates both indoor and outdoor play. Please make sure your child has suitable clothing and footwear for the weather.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Reception team.

Homework will be given every Friday to be returned by Monday. This will not always be a written task, it may be an activity based around literacy, mathematics, communication and language or an art activity.

Please encourage your child to complete the homework independently, offering support only when needed.

Continue to practice both reading and writing. Remember, it is important to continue flashing all the words that have been sent home. This will help to embed them into your child's memory and help with their progression in Literacy.

Please try to spend at least 10 minutes each evening on your child's homework.

Thank you for your continuous support.

Skip Counting Forward and Back | Count to 100 | Counting Songs | Jack Hartmann

Skip Counting Forward and Back is an educational song that focuses on skip counting by 10's to 100 and then skip counting back. The upbeat fun Caribbean rhythm makes it easy to also incorporate movements as you count. This is a wonderful brain and body connection for learning and moving.
