Possible return to school for Nursery, Reception and Year 6

On Sunday 10thMay 2020 the Prime Minister announced that more pupils could start returning to school from 1stJune 2020. School leaders have been asked to start planning for this possible return and considering what we can safely offer.  We cannot do this until we have a clear picture of how many parents are likely to want to send their children to school. ​

   As school is still closed, you will continue to get your daily work from here until further notice.

 

 All work provided can be done in the exercise book that was given to you before school closed. Please do not feel you have to print the work out, this is optional.

 

If you need anymore exercise books for your work, please call into the school office between 9am & 3pm Monday to Friday.( school term only)

Homework

 

This has been replaced with learning from home until school resumes again.

 

Important information and reminders

 

We hope you're all had a wonderful Christmas break and you are looking forward to the Spring term. Please find below some important information you need to know about the new term.

 

  • Please remember school begins promptly at 8.50 am on Monday 6th January 2020. Pupils can now come in at 8.45  and do their early morning work to get them ready for the day.
  • PE will continue to be every Tuesday. Children should bring their PE kit into school on Monday and take it home on Friday.  Please provide your child with  the correct PE Kit which is :

 

Blue/black shorts or tracksuits bottoms

 White PE top

Trainers/plimsoles.

 

  • This term year 5 will continue to have Swimming on Thursday Mornings. Please provide your child with the following  Swimming Kit :

 

Boys – Swimming trucks

Girls- Swimming suit

All – Swimming caps and towel

Optional – Swimming goggles

 

  • If your child is on any special medication or allergic to anything please don’t forget to inform the school.
  • Please note that swimming is part of the curriculum and all pupils are expected to take part.

 

Class Assembly

The date will be given once school resumes again.

 

Homework

Homework will be given out every Friday. Please ensure that your child hands their homework book in on a Wednesday so that it can be marked promptly.
