The Staff in St. Elizabeth are Ms Asantewaa and Ms Aman.

Welcome back everyone to the second half of the Autumn Term!

This half term our topic is 'Transport'.

Please  talk to your child about the different types of transport that they might see outside and to start naming and making a list of the ones that they tell you.

On Friday 23rd November 2018, our class will be going on a trip to Tottenham Fire Station as part of the topic on 'Transport'. Please let us know if you will be available to help on that day.

Reception Homework

This week the children have been learning about 2D shapes. Please encourage your child to look around their home environment  and see what different types  of 2D shapes they might find. Remember to also talk about the properties of the shape. Example A circle is round and  it has 1 side.

Please  continue to practise blending the sounds that your child knows to make CVC words such as:

bed  fed  led red  mad sad  cat  hat bat  pin  tin win

Remember to also encourage  your child to write the letter sounds that they know correctly.

Thank you for your continuous support.

We learnt about the role of a firefighter.

The children will learn these sounds to begin with. Please practise them at home with your child.
