PE kits need to be brought to school every Monday and taken home and washed on a Friday. That way kits will always be available when they are needed.
Spellings are given every Friday. Please learn these for a test the following Friday.
Reading books are changed weekly. Please read with your child each night and ensure reading books are always in your child’s book bag when they come to school.
Homework is also given on a Friday and is due in on the following Wednesday morning. Please see the class teacher if you have any questions about the homework. Please see the attachment for this weeks homework.
We are using Abacus- Active Learn to plan and deliver lessons.
Your child will be given weekly activities to complete on line which where we can check their progress.

Our Topic this half term is Travel and Transport.
We will explore different modes of transport and discuss how they have changed over time. This topic allows the children to explore maps of the local area and consider the journeys they travel on each day.
We will be exploring 'Everyday Materials' in science this term. The children will be given an opportunity for children to look closely at their environment and identify materials and their properties. Over the term we will carry out investigations and build discussion around our findings, with the aim to draw conclusions about materials we use each day.
