Our wonderful classes
Our new IPC topic is
All Dressed Up
What are clothes? Have you ever seen an elephant in a dress? Or a giraffe in a pair of jeans? Of course not, because unlike animals, only human beings wear clothes. Clothes are an important part of our lives.
In Science we will be learning about
Everyday materials - we will be investigating materials that we come across everyday. We will be carrying out enquiries to find out the best uses for different materials.
PE kits need to be brought to school every Monday and taken home and washed on a Friday. That way kits will always be available when they are needed.
Spellings are given every Friday. Please learn these for a test the following Friday.
Homework is also given on a Friday and is due in on the following Wednesday morning. Please see the class teacher if you have any questions about the homework.
Reading books are changed weekly. Please read with your child each night and ensure reading books are always in your child’s book bag when they come to school.
The Big Read - This half term in our Big Read lessons we will be focusing on
Paddington by Michael Bond
The classic story of a much-loved bear – Paddington! Join Paddington and the Browns as they start their adventures at Paddington Station.
